Built Dffrnt: Week 1 – What it means to be BUILT DFFRNT

What it means to be BUILT DFFRNT

To sum it up: the better we play as a team, the more loyal customers we build who refer us to friends and family, the more referrals we get, the more we win!

Safety is a big focus.  #1, We want to send everyone home safely to their families. #2, Injuries cost all of us, and loyal customers don’t want the risk of injuries on their sites.  So, obviously, we all want to team up to protect our families and our future work.

Lastly, I said I would send a bit of business wisdom each week to inspire our best.  Let’s start!

Peter Drucker was sent to Japan after World War II to help it rebuild.

3 Quotes we can learn from his success with Toyota, Sony, and the like.

“Kaizen.”

“Culture eats strategy for breakfast.”

“You can’t improve what you don’t measure.”

For this week, the focus is on Kaizen, a simple discipline of daily “Continuous Improvements.”

Small daily wins stack over a lifetime!

And when you have a group committed to camaraderie and service to each other in making those improvements, this is where championships are won.

Whether it is safety, craftsmanship, documentation, or a great attitude, as you talk to your teams this week, let them know the simple improvements you are committed to that will help the team stack wins in safety and customer loyalty.

Let’s have some fun and kick some ass… Make it a great week, all!
