Safety First
Ensuring the safety of our employees, subcontractors, clients and project sites is Bjerk Builders highest priority. We believe working smart and working safely is the only approach for our construction team.
We maintain a Safety and Health Program that conforms to the best practices within the construction industry. It’s our policy to utilize all appropriate safety practices and equipment available, to prevent accidents or injury to the people or property of those we come in contact with. We conform to any and all OSHA requirements and those requirements of the governing agencies having jurisdiction over each jobsite.
Here’s how we keep safety a priority, because safety is everyone’s responsibility.
- Require site specific safety plans to be executed on every project
- Conduct scheduled and surprise jobsite visits by our “Risk Management Team”
- Regularly update our corporate safety manual
- Provide ongoing training and education
- Use our technology for more efficient communication, safety and security
